I haven't read a vampire story in a long time also this is the first time I am reading this author and I can say I love her writing and will be definitely continuing onto the other books in the The Hunting Series.

I love the name of Hellhounds as it makes it more devilish and bad. But I do love vampires as I was always obsessed with Angel and Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel series. I love to read the adult side to vampires more then reading Twilight as it didn't seem to grab me as much as this book.

I was glued from the first chapter of this story. I loved how Jessica was so headstrong and hunted down vampires. I love how there was twist and turns and you questioning through the book. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.

I loved the hot Hellhound men Jay, Gage and Rayce and I can't wait to read more about these characters. But Gage needs to stay away as I don't like how he treated Jessica but I am happy that Rayce came into her life and rescued her.

If you love your romance, hot scenes and vampires this is the book for you.

I found out on her website there is more book series she as done and you can visit by clicking here

Blog Tour/ Book Review | Grace After Henry by Eithne Shortall | Corvus Books

Grace After Henry by Eithne Shortall

3rd May | Paperback £12.99 & ebook
If you would like to buy your copy, please click here

A poignant, funny and moving exploration of love and loss from the bestselling author of Love in Row 27, Eithne Shortall.

Grace sees her boyfriend Henry everywhere. In the supermarket, on the street, at the graveyard.

Only Henry is dead. He died two months earlier, leaving a huge hole in Grace's life and in her heart. But then Henry turns up to fix the boiler one evening, and Grace can't decide if she's hallucinating or has suddenly developed psychic powers. Grace isn't going mad - the man in front of her is not Henry at all, but someone else who looks uncannily like him. The hole in Grace's heart grows ever larger.

Grace becomes captivated by this stranger, Andy - to her, he is Henry, and yet he is not. Reminded of everything she once had, can Grace recreate that lost love with Andy, resurrecting Henry in the process, or does loving Andy mean letting go of Henry?

I was kindly sent the arc copy of this book from Corvus books for an honest review also I read along with my friend Christine she as wrote up her for the Blog Tour/ Book Review her blog is A Little Piece Of My Mind click on here.

I hate to write a bad review about Grace After Henry but it didn't seem to grab me. I understand that when the author added the parts about Henry as that showed how she remembers him but it seems it was randomly added to the story and it confused me.
But I didn't hate it all way through as I felt Grace was trying to cope without Henry being there and she's a strong character.
I love how she added the down to earth but nosy neighbour Betty she made me laugh at things she came out with and she helped Grace through her grieving.
I felt this story was heartfelt but I feel I wanted more in the plot as I felt there should have been more to be done.
I felt the epilogue confusing as I didn't know why Andy was there and I felt I needed more information.

Book Tour & Giveaway | SINdicate: The New Lyons Sequence #2 by J.T. Nicholas | Silver Dagger Book Tour

The New Lyons Sequence #2
by J.T. Nicholas

Genre: Science Fiction/Cyberpunk Noir
Pub Date: 3/20/2018

The Post-Modern Prometheus

Synths were manufactured to look human and perform physical labor, but they were still only machines. That’s what the people who used—and abused—them believed, until the truth was revealed: Synths are independent, sentient beings. Now, the governments of the world must either recognize their human nature and grant them their rightful freedom, or brace for a revolution.
Former New Lyons Detective Jason Campbell has committed himself to the Synths’ cause, willing to fight every army the human race marches against them. But they have an even greater enemy in Walton Biogenics, the syndicate behind the creation and distribution of the “artificial” humans. The company will stop at nothing to protect their secrets—and the near-mythological figure known to Synths as “The First,” whose very existence threatens the balance of power across the world . . .

The New Lyons Sequence #1

The Artificial Evolution

They look like us. Act like us. But they are not human. Created to perform the menial tasks real humans detest, Synths were designed with only a basic intelligence and minimal emotional response. It stands to reason that they have no rights. Like any technology, they are designed for human convenience. Disposable.
In the city of New Lyons, Detective Jason Campbell is investigating a vicious crime: a female body found mutilated and left in the streets. Once the victim is identified as a Synth, the crime is designated no more than the destruction of property, and Campbell is pulled from the case.
But when a mysterious stranger approaches Campbell and asks him to continue his investigation in secret, Campbell is dragged into a dark world of unimaginable corruption. One that leaves him questioning the true nature of humanity.
And what he discovers is only the beginning . . .

J.T. Nicholas was born in Lexington, Virginia, though within six months he moved (or was moved, rather) to Stuttgart, Germany. Thus began the long journey of the military brat, hopping from state to state and country to country until, at present, he has accumulated nearly thirty relocations. This experience taught him that, regardless of where one found oneself, people were largely the same. When not writing, Nick spends his time practicing a variety of martial arts, playing games (video, tabletop, and otherwise), and reading everything he can get his hands on. Nick currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, a pair of indifferent cats, a neurotic Papillion, and an Australian Shepherd who (rightly) believes he is in charge of the day-to-day affairs.
